The Scientific Society of Students, Postgraduate Students, Doctoral Students and Young Scientists of KNLU is the legal successor of the Council of Young Scientists and has been operating on the basis of the charter since June 2016. The Council of the Scientific Students Society includes young scientists and students of all faculties of the university.
The purpose of the work
The purpose of work of the Scientific Students Society is to create favorable conditions for involvement in active scientific activity and informing about the main achievements in various fields of science of students, postgraduates, doctoral students and young scientists of KNLU.
The main tasks of the Scientific Students Society of the University:
involvement of students, postgraduates, doctoral students and young scientists in research work;
provision of information on modern methods of conducting scientific research;
assistance in the preparation and holding of all-Ukrainian and international scientific and practical conferences;
involvement of students, postgraduates, doctoral students and young scientists to participate in scientific and practical seminars and trainings on current scientific topics;
organization of cooperation with scientific societies of leading universities of Ukraine;
promoting the activation of international research work among young scientists and students of KNLU
Main areas of work
The Scientific Students Society conducts work to intensify the research work of young scientists and students of KNLU, namely: participation of students, postgraduates, doctoral students and young scientists in international and all-Ukrainian scientific and practical conferences, informational and methodological seminars, trainings, scientific round tables. Provides information on the possible participation of young scientists and students in state sectoral and international educational programs. To intensify this work, the scientific society of students, postgraduates, doctoral students and young scientists cooperates with the scientific department, the international department and the department of postgraduate and doctoral studies of KNLU.
Participation in society
The Scientific Students Society has about 300 members. The society has created its own information page on the Facebook with information is constantly provided about the possibility of participation in international and all-Ukrainian scientific and practical conferences, about participation in international internship programs, about the possibility of receiving international grants and scientific scholarships, about open lectures by leading scientists and practitioners of various fields, about opportunities to participate in various trainings, round tables, seminars and competitions.
